I ordered some custom length axles for my
NEARLY complete car. The owner of the company that are the main Moser agent in Australia personally took my order 5 weeks ago. I realise that it takes a while to have the axles made and shipped to the other side of the world. I was quoted 4 weeks.
Having not received the axles one week after their promised delivery, I rang the company. Again, the owner answered the phone. After I explained the reason for my call, he went quiet for a little while, then said......
"Oh, I found a name, credit card number and telephone number on my desk this week and wondered what it was there for. That must have been your order. Oh yeah - here are the specs you gave me. No, I didn't order those axles for some reason. Not to worry, I can get you some in the next order. They'll be about six weeks away" !!!!!
Needless to say, I won't be ordering from them. He rang back in the afternoon to say how sorry he was, and that he'd do what he could to make it up. His offer was for me to receive a small discount on some axles he had sitting on the shelf, but he new perfectly well that the axles were a different length....
It's all good fun....
