Anybody out there with the Chevette Column setup from Classic ,run don't walk to the phone and give Ed and Jay a call at Classic's by Elite. I know this is not the forum for a plug but I just finished the install of my new Column and shaft.
Like driving a new car .The loss of the slop at speed is incredible and the key on the dash is a nice touch. I have to say I was never comfortable with the " Rube" look and feel of the old setup. Someone posted it made 60mph a little too exciting. I agree !
