John - absolutely right about
oil contamination. A lot of guys won't reuse an
oil cooler after contamination, saying that you can never clean an
oil cooler to be 100% clean....
This brings me to another question. How often do top Nascar teams actually have mechanical failures? I'm not talking about a little fuel / spark related miss, but a full scale "rods out the side", or "valves dancing on pistons" type of outright mechanical carnage?
