Ford advertised its 351 Windsor at 65 lbs. more than the 302 in 1969. That was with iron heads, iron manifolds, and carb.

AL head and intake plus tube headers = weight than the 302.

The Windsor has a heavier, reinforced block. A 408 stroker is known as a reliable 500 plus HP combination.
