Boxhead,

I was told to make sure that the body is not placed anyway that allows it to twist or bend.



I placed milk crates under four corners and in the middle of the sills to keep it all level. New glass will twist and take the shape you leave it in, so I guess watch that.

Guess you visit the Milkbar one night..

I have used button head bolts and nylocks for the scoop and the bonnet.

Sorry I don't have pictures on this 'Forum' but check out the forum 'Cars for sale' etc. and you will see how many they use and how they do the leading edge of the bonnet with screw/rivets/or bolts up to level with the scoop front edge.

The "A" head button bolts are better as they don't pull through the glass or cause stars. Additionally, you take them out for painting etc. Use stainless.

We now have a reason to visit Alice Springs.



If the Sth. Aussie run gets up again.
