Silly Thought....

I was just wondering (I hate it when I wonder... ) if the vent line is submerged or crimped thus not allowing air to exit or enter the tank. ....

Then when the car engine is running... would not this breather lock condition also hamper fule pump efficiency? In other words if it is slow going in would it not also be slow going out as well?

Just wondering...
