I'm actually not having any problems with the tune, I'm kind of old school and like the simplicity of the carb and distributor, What is putting me over the edge is finding an air filter/screens I like that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I'm running an electromotive tec3 distributorless, I like the period correct look of having the distributor and wires as well.

Actually, TWM was bought out by Borla and is now known as Borla Induction. They do make Horn Screens for 58 mm horns. They also state that they are screens for keeping out debris such as stones and they are not not filters. I use a set of ITG filters which were very expensive, required modification to the horns and the hood opening and came only with a base plate that had to be cut out to fit. basically, they are universal filters. But maybe that is one reason I haven't had ANY engine problems in 8 years. Good luck to you!

Try to contact Bill Hirsch in Warren, Michigan @ Bills B Racing. Email is Stackcovers@aol.com, Tele: 586-883-0942. He's a great guy and offers a good filtered product that reduces HP at intake the least of all filters I believe. He can explain it better than me. I noticed a difference in my TWM immediately.
Regards,
Bill Bryan
