Default Holman Moody Intake Manifold ???

Anybody have any experience with these intakes for the 514? I recently acquired an SPF with what I believe is a H/M (dual-plane) intake, CJ heads, and a Speed Demon carb. I have been scouring the forums and all I see is Ebrock and Blue Thunder.

Just trying to decide if it is worth keeping or not. I don't have anything to compare it to...it's my first Cobra...

Thanks for any opinions.

Post Manifold Misery ?

I don't know or can't tell from the picture if it is a H/M . It looks more like to me to be the dual plane that Ford Power Parts sold a while back. If so, you've got the right one for a cobra. The FPP manifold was set up for super cobra jet heads and required port work regardless of the heads you used. It made power to 7000 rpms and flowed copious air. It could also be used well in some
gas classes as well as the street. Ron at Ford Power Parts may have the answer you are looking for.

e-mail - fpp@gte.net for information on that manifold.

I'm no expert, but it looks to me like a Blue Thunder BP intake.

Have Fun,
Randy R...

Randy- I think your right . It just may be the B/T manifold after compairing the two. Funny that I don't have the FFP manifold around to compaire it with anymore. My current motor uses B/T stuff but not that manifold.

Thanks for the help, guys. I just thought of something that might help. #6 is not cast on the runner for some reason. 1,2,3,4,5,7 and 8 are though.

Any ideas?

Thanks
