Lightbulb Shelby 468 carbs swap - jet size

Good morning all

I have a Shelby aluminium 468 and have just taken the Holley carb off.

I’ve replaced it with a Holley black

Unfortunately, I did not check the jet sizes prior to selling

Any thoughts on the jet size

850 Holley manual secondaries

Thank

Bernie

With two power valves stock is somewhere in the 80/80 range. No PV in rear 88, this would be a good start. Check to see what you have for PV first.

A Holley XP 850 list 80804 in Ultragrey runs 84 square, 45 PVs.

Why do they run a PV on the secondary, we all know they starve under hard acceleration.

Thanks for the feedback.

I’ll get the Holley model number this week as the Cobra is in a workshop.

It’s the Holley black 80804 I think. Stand by for confirmation.

Thanks for the feedback to date. cheers Bernie

PV obviously depends on vacuum. If it ran ok, call the guy you sold it to?

what kind of hp are you putting out?

Really need to O2 sensor to figure out it. I'd recommend getting the 02 vs having some shop doing the tuning - typically the shops don't put enough care into tuning.

my guess is 4.5-6.5 pv with 84-88 jets in the 2ndaries; 80-84 in the front but just a guess.
