Default Lykins Motorsports 556ci BBF....1206 hp @ 8500

I know I post a lot of street builds, but also wanted to show off one of the more racier builds that I do.

This is a $44k pulling truck engine that went to Montana earlier in the year. It's a sled-puller and the owner pulls in a class that limits the displacement to 565 cubic inches. We hit about 10ci less than that to allow for freshen-ups down the road.

Everything in the engine is brand new, no factory blocks, not even a factory timing cover is used. Bryant crankshaft, Oliver rods, Diamond pistons, dry sump oiling, Profiler cylinder heads that flow over 550cfm, one of my custom solid roller camshafts on a 60mm core with almost 1" of lift, a sheet metal intake, and a pair of Braswell 1450cfm 4500 style carburetors. The valve springs cost about $600 just by themselves, sitting at 400 lbs seat pressure and 1200 lbs open pressure.

What was that motor revving during that pull. Impressive!

Probably 8500-9000.
