Question C.A.T. Performance Parts any good???

On Ebay i'm seeing Aluminum Water Pumps, Rocker Arms, ect... listed by private sellers from CAT Performance Parts in California I believe. Anyone know thier reputation??? Do they have a web site I can't find??
Any Info! Thanks, Rick.

Cat Power is not only an importer to the American market. Cat Power has invested in manufacturing equipment for facilities in China. Cat Power also owns foundry, forging, and machine shops in China

I wouldn't use the stuff if it was free.

Default CAT CRAP

Hi Rick, I had a set of cat roller rockers from cat once.......once. They were a set of aluminium rollers they looked just like a set from Harland sharp. Anyways they were on my SBF with a pretty good lift cam .565 to be exact, I was driving to work and a couple of them let go. That's not a noise you want to hear coming from under your hood! What ended up happening is I BENT two of the rockers! The bearings had locked up and puked out all the rollers and two "C" clips into my motor and then proceeded to bend themselves all up.... OK maybe the bearings weren't getting good oil? possibly but the Pro-Magnum's I replaced them with have been fine for the last two years! Try finding all of thoese needle bearings in your oilpan, it's a really good thing Moroso's pickup screens are made with a fine mesh! That could have been realy ugly. Life lesson learned.... It just dosen't pay to buy cheap parts!
