2 things that really helped to knock down the heat issues in my 460 FFR. #1 was to add an oil cooler. Dramatic change! #2 was, after 3500 miles, switched to Mobil 1 oil. I still get the temp gauge to climb if I'm stuck in more than 10 minutes of traffic, but it doesn't overheat, and I have a wimpy Spal fax with no shroud installed. This is my project for the winter, installing a better fan with home-made, if necessary, shroud.
