Dave- Re; trans coolers. This is one area where bigger is better. Looking at a old Jegs cat. there or several w/fans I would consider, but I would have to see anything I would buy first.
More than anything else you are limited to the size of your cowl opening unless you mount it higher on the radiator. Strange as it may seem, I am using a Mopar kit unit that they sell for full size van conversons. Works for me!
