Dual Quad 460 Intake

Can anyone give me the overall height of the Blue Thunder dual quad intake for a 429/460? I have one on order and I am looking at how much hood clearance I need. I am talking about the dimension from the manifold base to the carb mount flanges. Thanks.

Hi,
It's 6 1/2" tall at the rear, slopes to front an inch. Not much hood clearance, had to make my own flat aluminum base for the cobra air cleaner.

John, the Cleveland stays in the cobra (for now anyway). The 521 is for my 63 Galaxie.
