Noooo..... I've never owned a bowtie. But my buddy has a really bad-a$$ '76 Monte Carlo with the 2bbl 350 on it and he put chrome valve covers on it and was immediately running in the low 13's.

I've never owned a chebby, but I've cleaned up lots of oil from them before.
