Default 1968 460 Lincoln Continental Engine.

What headers would be better to put on a 1968 460 Engine to supe it up. I dont know if Super Cobra Jet Headers or if Police Intercepter Headers are better.

Is the motor in the Lincoln or a Cobra?

If you are looking for a size and length, maybe this site will help.

Ford did not make a 460 motor in 1968. you would be smart to check all block and engin casting numbers to determine what motor you have

Yup. I put one in a 79 Bronco. IIRC it was rated at 365hp with 525 ft/lbs of torque at 2800 rpm. Really worked well in the Bronco with all that down low torque.

68 was the first year for the 460. Available in Lincolns only. Everything else was 429. I actually used to own a 68 with suicide doors and a 460. What a great car that was!

Just don't confuse the 460 with the 462...totally different animals
