Stuff's on ebay pretty regular. Seems like complete engines (not rebuilt) were fetching $13k and up.
Any one ever squeezed one of these in a Cobra? I remember hearing the Mustang required narrowed shock towers to get it in.
My brother told me stories about when the two in town would come into the Sunoco he worked at to fill up on 260. I tried very hard to talk Mom into buying one when we were at the Ford dealer, about a year later she traded in the '65 Belair on a shiny new... Mavrick.  |
