I was in attendance at last January's auction. Wow what a neat event. Very well run. Actually there were 3 auctions running at the same time. One was the Barrett-Jackson and there were two others going on nearby.

The vast tent city of automotive vendors that surrounds the site is a true candy store.

The auction is interesting to attend. I was not in the bidders corral but in the cheap seats.

Walking around looking at the cars that are outside, under tents, awaiting their turn to hit the stage is perhaps the best part of the show.

The auto transport guys (like InterCity Lines) are there in droves. Most everthing there is trucked in and trucked out.

This event is very much worth attending at least once in life IMHO. If there is any way to get there in person, by all means plan to go. The eye candy in attendance (I am not talking just about autos here... ahem. is quite amazing... nice manifolds)

I will be watching on TV this year.
