thanks for checking out the thread. I talked with "Stretch" by phone last week and was ready to put down a deposit. My better half informed me that new floors were in order in our home before a "big noisy engine was needed", thus I am now leaning toward a component build instead of a completed engine. I would have had to lower my offer considerably. He came across as a "stand up guy" and I"really wasn't comfortable doing that, so I called him backed explained my situation to which he responded in understanding and gracious manner. You were right.
