Obergs seem to be a fairly good filter,, most cannister style filters have a bypass and won't filter all the
oil all of the time.. to where as the Obergs do. Some filters will capture particles down to a smaller size, but if they screen only 60-70% of the
oil, you run the risks.. The more popular styles of Obergs are the Tattle Tale and the 600 series. Another brand of screen filters is called something similar to "System One."
I've heard they are comparable to each other..
Most guys running the Obergs have the high pressure warning sensor on the Oberg, which tells you when the screen is getting clogged with debris...
The best combo in my opinion would be to run a remote setup, first hitting the Oberg then going into a cannister...
I had a hard time finding the Oberg website, (the filter, not the crusher portion) a couple years ago, and when I just tried, I couldn't locate it...
