Depends on the bore and condition. The standard / standard engines are $6-8k for a runner. Blocks start at $1200 and go up to about 3k. A NOS side oiler block can bring 5k. A .030 over top oiler is at it's outer limits. It might go .040, it might not. If not it's time for sleeves. I see sleeved blocks for well under 1k.
