Snkbte,

The LS6 is 5.7 litre with better heads etc than LS1. LS6 around 300kW.

LS2 is 6.0 litre with lots of better things. 297 kw out of box plus stump pulling torque.

Eagle Auto have unstamped (engine number) LS1 in stock but they are 2002-2003 manufactured motors. These engines should be identical to later motors with only difference being what PCM program was running it. Not sure how engineer or RTA figure this one out??

Eagle also have 6.00 litre Cast Iron block /alloy head motors in stock. Great for a Hot Rod ( different rules, go figure) but not Individually Constucted Vehicle.


Eagle do not know when LS2 motors will be brought in but eventually they will.

If you are not in a hurry it maybe worth waiting for LS2.

NSW RTA are sure making it hard. What would you expect from a state where the Premier dosen't have a driving licence.
