Keisler I think sells new t56's with their mod. Their mod is nice in that the rear location is still usable if for whatever reason you would want to use the trans in something else.

They use a hurst shifter that has a bolt on shift lever, that may be a nice bit of flexibility over the B&M. I assume Aussie Mike's mod could also use that shifter.

I was one of those folks that sent email to Aussie Mike, I suspected he was getting flooded with questions and took the hint when he didn't reply. I still appreciate him planting the seed, I think the forward position is going to make a world of difference, at least I hope so, it has cost me a bunch of money.

Follow on question, there seems to be alot of interest hydraulic thow out bearings? Why is that, the stock t56 uses a hydraulic system already? It is pretty simple to modify the slave to use an AN fitting.
