OK...the jury is out. My straight shifter bites! I'm back from a 1600mile round trip with 2 days of twisty-road cruises. I love the short throw but the postion is too far back such that my right elbow kept hitting the co-pilot. There were several other cars that had the Jordan lever and I had a chance to take a close look at it. It is a much better way to go! So, my next iteration will be in the direction of duplicating the Jordan.
