Jerry, I have not installed the Frost King Duct insulation, However, the reported results were favorable on the Corvette forum regarding insulating the entire transmission tunnel and shifter area, both for heat and noise.
Another use mentioned as a succesfull installation was was the entire rear compartment to reduce the road noise and sound level, especially after installation of an exhaust system.
