The tale of two replicas
My wife and I took a drive up Hwy 14 east today and ended up at
Stonehenge
which is a replica of the - shall we say "
Real Deal
".
It was kind of hazy on the way up to Stonehenge.
Second rest stop - we passed up a group of motorcyclist that were taking a group photo. I think we interrupted them as they all started to wave at us as we drove by. I bet the guy taking there picture thought they were waving for the photo.
Just another photo op moment. We past a couple of trains on the way and I guess they also like cobras, because they blew there horn as we past them...pretty cool!
Here we are in front of the replica of Stonehenge. "A Replica by a Replica"
It was hot and dusty, but we met a few nice people there that were car nuts like us. We talked for a little while about there cars and ours.
It was tough to get a good picture, because there was so many people walking around and through the thing.
Thats all of the pictures I took today.
As we started home we decided to take a trip to Hood River and stop by Packers to have a smoothie, and visited with a few more on-lookers. We left for home from there, and on the way I caught a glimpse of this red car with white stripes heading east on Hwy 84, it was a new Ford GT. I went nuts for a moment telling my wife to look at the new Ford GT40 coming towards us. After I got through acting like most of the people that see our cars for the first time, I re-composed myself and drove home.
Thats all
