That is a tough decision when you put it like that. I am a big fan of BDR but I enjoyed working on it as much as driving it. Assembling a Hurricane would quench that thirst. The only thing that would turn me off of a complete build is shopping the bodywork and dealing with the idiots at the body shops and listening to their lies as to why it is not done or done the way you want it. With BDR it is painted when you receive it. I might opt for a BDR but build the motor myself from the ground up instead of a crate engine. I know some insurance companies will only insure a "factory" assembled vehicle. You nailed it pretty good on your prices as far as a BDR. In the end I would have to go with the BDR.
