Default webers or 4 barrel carb for 289 FIA

While Chassis 2112 makes its way towards the painters I am getting my motor ready.

I am currently building a 289 for my ERA FIA. I was hoping to get some comparison info from some of you who have built with either a 4 barrel carb or webers than changed the setup to the other.

My question is; which gets you more bang for the buck? I am leaning towards the webers, however the initial outlay of cash for the weber setup has me wondering if it is worth it.

The small block in question was pulled from my 67 mustang, it is being bored over .030", 10.5:1 compression, AFR 165cc heads, and comp cams 281HR grind cam shaft.

(the mustang got a 302, with a mild cam and edelbrock heads)
