If you are willing to spend the dough it is totally worth it. I budgeted for a carburetor, setup & built it that way. I got the carb, a 600 holley Double Pumper, set & drove it around a bit then ended up with some extra cash in hand & decided to throw webers on. I have the webers tuned in about 99% now & they pull noticably harder. I can get her rolling in 2nd, nail it & the tires break loose. Wouldn't do that with a carb on my slightly built 289.
