Cobranda sells stamped steel bases with no hole or flange for the carb. This allows you to put the hole for the carb wherever you want. This worked great for positioning the base. Unfortunately their cast Cobra lid would still not fit under my hood with the air cleaner I needed to get enough air to the motor.
So I used another base to make the lid. Kind of Plain Jane, But I like the minimalist look.
Gets plenty of air now!
Using AED 750 with no choke or horn.
