I didn't see how high the lift pad starts at. You have to get the lift pad under the car to something substancial like the frame or suspension. Fiberglass doesn't work. I only need to lift about 2 inches to get the floor jack in but then there is no room to move the handle. so generally about six inches lift at the "A" arm ,slide in the floor jack in under the front crossmember, then go up from there . If you're going to lift both ends don't go to far on one end before starting to lift the other.
