I've seen some abnormal wear and/or squeaking at the bottom connection of the front shock so I'd recommend keeping it lubed. Look around for spray-can grease or just cover both sides of the joint with standard or silicone grease.

It's not necessary to lube the bottom or top of the Jag-based suspension's shocks except maybe a little rubber lube.
