I have the same problem except it is only with the fuel gauge. Mine are Smith's so does that mean they are all negative ground? When I hook the wires to the gauge it pegs to the right and stays there. I haven't traced all the wires down yet but tomorrow I'll check to see if the ground at the sender is OK and at the gauge. Is there anything else I should check?
