Good call, Bryan! I was wondering when someone would notice.
I have a bad left leg, and if you look at my info. in the upper left you will see that I am using an AOD. The instructors said to just put it in "D" and try to concentrate on following the instructor's line and being consistent. If I had downshifted for the turns, it might have helped somewhat, but I was having a hard enough time as it was concentrating on just getting close to his line in a lot of places.
Maybe next time they will let me use something besides third gear.
I'd recommend that school to anyone, especially those like me who have never been on a track before. Great price, great track, and great instructors.
I went to just get a feel for the car's limits to be a safer driver on the street, but I never came close to them this time and now fear that I am hooked after all the fun. I can't wait to go to another school.
