Default Rick..about that "cast paint"

"Have you considered the gray cast iron color that is used in machine shops. It is available at Ace Hardware, Home Depot and most automotive paint supply houses as well as many well equipped machine shops. Will hide a mulitude of sins. Nice stuff. Give it a try, you,ll like it"

.............. I was wondering about the stuff as well for use on an FE expansion tank. If it takes that heat ( water temps) I think it too would look sharper than the black I see most painting them in. I have seen most use that paint for under hood hinges and assorted bolt ons. Its a nice shade and look for metal finish. Think it will handle water temp?
