My deal is I'm trying to get inline dual fours on a tunnel wedge intake manifold,some fresh air and less restrictive aircleaner elements. By less restricive I'll bet taller K&N elements on the S&H bases or an oval air cleaner with a descent element. The incline of the carb mounting flanges is more than the incline of the hood line. More than likely I'll have to come up higher through the hood and the rear will still be higher than the front .
