I looked at the Hawk, but I would never consider it as a viable option. It maintains too-much of the old MGB technology. Kingpins being one and the weight factor being another.

Unique was another possibility, but Fast Cars is a three hour drive for me. I was able to inspect it, measure, make templates then return home to engineer my fit. The hospitality at Fast Cars was immeasurable when undertaking a project like this. I'm sure the Unique would not be as light too.
