Cut the cowl bar in half
didn't get that bad but I did grind a little metal off the hinge bracket before I realize I was upside down.
I know it needs those spinners. Anybody get theirs from the ebay dealer out west seems like a good price $100.

I did one door latch last night. Not bad and it closes nicely.
Instead of using a muffle type clamp for the steering wheel bracket on the cowl frame. I can't see how to tighten after the dash is mounted. I might use threaded rod with the brackets from the muffler clamps. This way I can loosedn the steering coulmn from under the dash. I try to take some pictures.
