Can anyone tell me how the edges of the different openings were treated on original or aluminum bodied cars. Did the aluminum fold back on itself, was it wrapped around a reinforcing rod, other method?
I know the body rolled around the cowl and door tubes, but what about the wheel openings or the nose and
oil cooler openings
a sketch of the different sections would really be great but just comments on how they were done would really be helpful
