We will use them on a 525" twin turbo methanol motor in one of our outlaw 10.5 cars. Should make in the 2500-2800 hp range. The heads use no more custom parts than any other high end race cylinder head. Yes, they are overkill for average joe, but they are intended for the guy who wants a FE that will be able to be competitive with other modernized engines.
I figured the technology has been available for some time to make a FE "BBC" style head, I was curious what prompted someone to spend money to develop such a head in a "limited FE" market. I guess although billet pieces are more expensive per piece, for a limited run of parts, I would think it would be cheaper to cnc pieces instead of making molds and casting heads.

What is the projected price for a set of bare heads ?

The Corvette people were completely demoralized."
