I don't think the aftermarket setups remove the mass air, as it's essential if you're using a mass air computer etc.
Easiest way is most likely the ford setup. Altho expensive.
Cheapest way would most likely to be purchasing an 89-93 harness/computer etc and cutting it down. It's what most FFR people do.
You can purchase everything needed usually from someone who is going carb instead of FI but using a donor.
Also it may depend on what you have already as far as mass air sensor, and a computer.
I believe holley has a conversion kit out now that includes everything but the computer.
Harnesses usually pop up on Ebay from time to time too.
I would suggest not using a 94/95 harness as the computer for those years had less aggressive timing. (plus, but not sure, they may have had coil on wire ignition)
