The waffle stainless is the way to go with the insulation backing. Used it on my ERAGT on the bulkhead between the engine and passenger compartments. Have now used it on the foot boxes of my ERAFIA. Much easier to keep clean. Watch out for the sharp edges... each time I've lost a little blood in the process.
