After I read Walt's entry it occured to me that the trip that I suggested and Walt's suggestion would go very well together. We could run over Washington pass to, say Wenatchee, party a bit then the next day do the run down the Yakima river and up and over Chinook pass. It would make a run that would be 300 miles +/- over the two prettiest mountain passes in the world. Plus it would give a great deal of running in the high desert.

After our run last summer that included mountain passes and high desert I would really get behind this one. It would not be difficult to put together a "Banquet" on Saturday night in the Wenatchee area.
