I have two sets of seats both have tubular frames. One set has the rubber strap system as shown on the ERA site. The other set has strapping on the back with foam and the bottom portion has a formed shallow pan that holds the foam. The pan is two or three inches deep. I had my upholsterer sew a sock into the bottom seat cushion for a submarine belt on one of the plastic seats on Friday(He was recovering the other set at the time) and he asked me to find him the plastic pans, so I have to move fast myself. The plastic set have a solid feel that holds its form.The other type feels more or less like a pillow. I will do my research and get back to you. Hope all is well.
