Type of
oil always matters for flat tappet cams. I suggest using Valvoline VR-1 because it's easy to find and has all the additives you need. Brad Penn and Joe Gibbs offer flat tappet oils too, but they can be difficult to find. There are also flat tappet additives for regular
oil available from Comp Cams and Lunati.
Motorcraft plugs are fine, .040-.045 with any electronic ignition.
