But right now the food bowl is nicely positioned between the 2 biggest cities in the country and "food miles" is another consideration. Plus, you rednecks would no doubt water it all down before sending to us, just like your beer.

Edit: Re subsidised water tanks, water restrictions, etc, while I agree it IS up to the states to put plans into action, public apathy isn't doing us any favours - peolpe are happy to whinge but nobody takes an interest in driving the change. There's very little pressure on our state government down here to do anything effective... the last bloke flew around in choppers all day and the current one just wants to build pyramids! So how do you get them to listen?
