thanks for your response. Its not really that bad. I guess i'll just keep things as they are. I don't want to get into a lot of re-engineering. I just thought if it could be done easily i would go for it.

PS the car is running stronger than ever. After i replace the rusted the distributor and i now have distributor that advances
it feels like i have all this new found power.
