Another great "Snakes" (if I do say so myself

) with 40 or so cars. Our trip to our lunch BBQ took us along the delta (route that we had never used for snakes) and which everyone I talked to agreed was a very scenic and enjoyable and most hadn't been in this area before. The catered BBQ and wine tasting at Perry Creek was a welcome break in the day. On the final leg to Tahoe via Hwy88 the temp started to get around 90 but the route took us thru the El Dorado forest and the trees helped keep us cooler as well as provide more beautiful scenery. Just when it stareed getting warmer we got some brief lite sprinkles to help cool us off. Once at the lake it was to for our reception and more great food (baby ribs, sushi, veggies, salads, dips, cheeses ....you get the idea) which had been arranged by Mike & Debbi McJilton with help fron Lenny & Julie Orr. Sat folks were off to trips around the lake, Wine and crafts fair's in North Lake & Minden, Reno for various activities. For me, the Mcjilton's, Orr's, William's and Chambers it was going to be the Autum Wine Festival at Northstar.................until the weld holding footbox for my master cylinders broke

Fortunately, Mike M & Lenny found a local that offered us the use of his Mig welder to make repairs (behind the Rite Aid I was able to roll into). While the "men" did the repairs the wives went off to the Wine festival (now which would you guy's have rather done anyway, work on a car or walk around a craftsfair looking at ....

)
We made the repairs in a couple of hours and we all made it back tothe hotel in time for the Mr.P Tequila gathering. As noted we did encounter more light sprinkles in the afternoon but nothing much. All in All a good time at the lake.
