May 8, GMP Open House/Car Show

Third annual open house/car show at GMP Diecast HQ in Winder on May 8, 10am to 2pm. Location is 45 Polite Road, which is the sidestreet east of Akins Ford. We'll plan on meeting around 9:30 for a 9:45 departure, meeting at the Park and Ride lot, Exit 126, which is the Chateau Elan Exit. Coming from the south on I-85, exit and turn right onto Hwy 211, first light the P&R is on the right corner. Maybe Johan will drive the Bardahl Special again to the event!

Bill, isn't the Mall of GA Ford show on Saturda as well? I'm heading down to Montgomery for a Mother's day thing and unfortunately will miss everything.

Yes, it is. It's not at the Mall anymore, it's at the Mall of GA Ford dealership on the other side of I-985. Not into a long day show on asphalt at a car dealership, GMP is a nice short get together. Too bad you'll miss them both!

I went to the one there last year I believe. There were hardly any cars there and I didn't stay very long. As I recall, there wasn't much going on regarding events. Maybe they'll kick it up a notch or two this year.
