Contact Ned Scudder, the SAAC Cobra Registrar.

Ned is more than familiar with this car.

I have already told Mr. Samaha the car's last known owner was a Dr. Weisshaupt in Germany. We have no contact information for him, so possibly someone in Germany can assist.

Is there any other car that gets this kind of respect? It seems that if anyone who had an original and finds stuff they try to find the current owner to keep the history together. That is awesome!!!

Hello!

I will submit your request/information via the German Cobra Forum.
May be someone knows more details and/or knows the present owner.
There are not too much original cobras in Germany.
Keep you updated.

Regards
Martin

I believe there may have been an interim owner between Christian Wolff and Dr. Weisshaupt, so the records may not help much. BTW, does anyone know Wolff's whereabouts these days?

Sorry, Ned, I confused you.

I meant Wolf's records went to Goray ('87 registry and all his notes, see pm). I won't know if Wolf owned that car.

The German chapter of SAAC should know who has 2238.

There are more original Cobras in Germany than you might think!

Goray called me to tell me that out of his head he doesn't know the owner.
Wolff is somewhere in Italy (that's info from 10 years ago...)

I read your comment on my spot at autogespot.com and found it here as well. Have you tried contacting the AC Cobra Club in Germany? Here is the URL:
Die Interessengemeinschaft für Cobra 427, Cobra 289 und Cobra Daytona Coupé

You can contact them via this email: dietmar.mettke@cobra-ig.de

Good luck!!!

I wonder whether journalist Greg Williams can help you contact Mary Ann Samaha. It doesn't look like she's been back to this forum since her first post.
